  Industry Visit to National Cancer Centre Singapore (NCCS)

  On 14 November 2024, SSO organised an industry visit for our La Trobe University Biomedical Science students to NCCS. During the visit, students gained insights into ongoing research projects, including those led by our alumna Bavani Kannan. The students also took a tour of the labs, observing cutting-edge research in action.

  Industry Visit to X3D Studio

  On 21 November 2024, SSO brought our Media & Communication students to X3D Studio, one of Asia’s largest virtual production studios. Students were introduced to state-of-the-art technology, and the studio’s producer shared valuable insights into the virtual production industry and career path.

  Discover Your Personality

  On 27 November 2024, SSO hosted an engaging workshop led by trainer Freddy, featuring the iDENTI3 Personality Assessment tool. During the session, students discovered their unique personality traits, strengths, and weaknesses. They also explored career paths aligned with their personalities and essential Critical Core Skills required in the workplace.

  SSO organised our annual Partners Connect event to thank our industry partners for their support in our students’ career and professional development. Guests were treated to a networking lunch and a speaker sharing session on skills-based hiring.   Student Leadership Challenge 2024

  Student Success Office (SSO) proudly hosted the annual 2-Day-1-Night Student Leadership Challenge on 9 and 10 November 2024. The programme featured engaging activities, including rock climbing and other team-building exercises, to provide students with valuable opportunities to develop essential leadership skills.
