Print Resources
  1. Search for the print resource in the Online Public Access Catalogue (OPAC).
  2. Once the preferred title is found, to take down the following information:
    • Author
    • Title
    • Edition
    • Year Published
    • Dewey No.
  3. Fill up and submit the Learning Resources Centre Book Loan Form.
  4. LRC staff will reply to the request within 1 to 2 working days.
Communications to Learning Resources Centre

Communications to the Learning Resources Centre can be done via email to LearningRC@psb-academy.edu.sg

Return

Students may return borrowed materials via the Learning Resources Centre Book Drop during campus operating hours.

The location of the Learning Resources Centre Book Drop at the respective campus is as follows:

  • City Campus: Level 4, alongside the thesis submission deposit box.
  • STEM Campus: Level 1, opposite Hive Counter 5.
Renewals

Students may renew borrowed materials via email to LearningRC@psb-academy.edu.sg – please provide the last four characters of your NRIC/FIN no., full name and barcode no. (e.g. B000001234) of the book.

Renewal via phone is not allowed. The loan period for renewed books is 7 days. Renewal request can only be done from one week prior to the due date.

Overdue Loans

Students who do not return overdue books even after email reminders have been sent by LRC will be subject to disciplinary actions.

Overdue Fines

All overdue items are subject to LRC fines:

Students with outstanding payments may be barred from attending lessons or sitting for examinations. Examination results, and graduation certificates and transcripts may be withheld until outstanding payments are paid.

Proceed to bursar counter and produce the overdue fine reminder email from LRC and PSBA card for verification.

Payment for Lost Items

Students will need to pay for lost items. The costs incurred will include overdue fines + S$25.00 per item + cost of item.

Students are to take care of the library materials loaned to them.

Action will be taken against any harassment to our staff.
