Graduation Requirements
Upon successful completion of all required modules, students will be awarded the Bachelor of Science (Exercise and Sports Science) from Edith Cowan University. The degree awarded will be the same as that to the on-campus graduates.

Year 1
ECU’s standard entrance requirements based on an:
- Indicative ATAR score of 70, which is the Australian Tertiary Admissions Rank percentage in Year 12; OR
- GCE A-Level (Minimum 3 subjects in H2 level or 2 subjects at H2 level and 2 subjects at H1 level); OR
- Certificate IV, Diploma and Advanced Diploma
Year 2
The applicant must meet the equivalent of:
- PSB Academy Diploma in Sport and Exercise Sciences; OR
- 3-year Sports and Exercise Science related Diploma from Singapore’s Polytechnic or equivalent; OR
- Other diploma or equivalent qualification would be assessed on a case by case basis*

Minimum Age Requirement

English Language Requirement
Applicants need to satisfy ECU’s minimum English standard requirements through one of these means of Band 3:
- Year 12 English ATAR, English Literature ATAR Grade C or better; OR
- Special Tertiary Admissions Test; OR
- IELTS Overall Scores 6.0 with no individual Band less than 6.0; OR
- TOEFL Paper-Based (TWE) 4.5; OR
- TOEFL Internet-Based (TWE) 5; OR
- Pearson Test of English Academic Score of 52 with no scores less than 50 for courses with a current requirement of Academic IELTS 6.0; OR
- OET - A minimum score of B in each of four components.
Students from Singapore must prove their English language proficiency as per one of the above conditions or as follows:
- PSB Academy Certificate in Academic English (CAE) Course - 60% or more in each of the 4 exams. Each of the 4 exams is of equal weighting; OR
- GCE O Level - Grade C6 or better; OR
- GCE A Level General Paper - Grade E or better; OR
- GCE O Level - Grade D7 and a completed qualification assessed as equivalent to an AQF Diploma; OR
- Advanced Diploma with minimum 1 year duration from a Registered Private Institution; OR
- A completed qualification assessed to AQF Diploma or Advanced Diploma from a Registered Polytechnic; OR
- A completed qualification assessed as equivalent to an Associate Degree or Bachelor degree from a Registered University

^Students with Diploma in Sport and Exercise Sciences from PSB Academy can enjoy 8 module exemptions. Students with Sports and Exercise Science Diplomas or other relevant Diplomas from Local Polytechnics may enjoy 8 - 12 module exemptions. Both are subject to university entry requirements. Students can gain direct entry to Academic Year 2 of the course and complete them in 12 – 16 months instead of 24 months.
