Graduation Requirements
Graduate Certificate in Business Administration is a direct pathway to the Master of Business Administration, with up to 40 units of credit – complete the programme in less time.
Upon successful completion of all required modules, students will be awarded the Graduate Certificate in Business Administration from The University of Newcastle, Australia. The degree awarded will be the same as that to the on-campus graduates.
Maximum Candidature: The maximum candidature period for all candidates is 36 months (3 years).
Academic Requirements
- 3 year Bachelor’s Degree not in a related field; OR
- 3 year Diploma in a related field such as accounting, business, commerce, economics, finance, human resource management, industrial relations, management, marketing; OR
- 3 year Diploma not in a related field + 1 year relevant organisational experience; OR
- 2 year Diploma in a related field such as accounting, business, commerce, economics, finance, human resource management, industrial relations, management, marketing, + 2 years relevant organisational experience; OR
- 2 year Diploma not in a related field + 3 years relevant organisational experience; OR
- At least 5 years relevant organisational experience.
English Language Requirement
- IELTS ‐ 6.5 no subtest less than 6.0
- TOEFL paper-based test - 550 min of 4.5 in TWE or, or a score of 213 with a 4.5 in the Essay Rating in the computer-based test
- An applicant who wishes to enrol and does not speak English as a first language must demonstrate that they meet the University's English proficiency requirement.
