Introduction

Bring out the designer in you with a Full Time or Part Time Diploma in Graphic Design and Media. This diploma course is designed to develop your creative thinking and technical skills in digital design and media. You’ll learn key design principles, the creative process behind visual communication, and technical execution using industry-standard software.​ By the end of this graphic diploma, you will achieve: ​
  • Understanding of design principles and media applications ​
  • Gain mass communication skills for use in production and creative departments ​
  • Technical skills in Adobe Creative Cloud* - Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and After Effects ​
  • A professional digital media portfolio ​
Upon completion, you can choose to further your studies with a degree from our university partners, subject to their entry requirements. ​ *Adobe Creative Cloud software licences are provided to students for the purpose of learning at no additional cost. ​

Graduation Requirements

In order to graduate and progress to our Degree programmes, students have to:
  • complete and pass the modules stipulated in the course structure
  • fulfil attendance requirement

Academic Requirements

  • Obtained at least a pass grade at A-Level in any 2 subjects; OR
  • PSB Academy Certificate in Business Management; OR
  • PSB Academy Certificate in Media and Communications; OR
  • Mature candidates (≥ 30 years old with 8 years’ work experience)
  • Candidates with other qualifications will be considered as case-by-case basis

Minimum Age Requirement

  • 16 years old

English Language Requirement

  • GCE 'O' level English (Grade 1-6); OR
  • IELTS score of 5.5; OR
  • PSB Academy's Certificate in English Proficiency Level 5; OR
  • PSB Academy English Proficiency Test; OR
  • An equivalent English language qualification
