Dr. Jason Tan

Lecturer

Dr. Tan Weng Chun (Jason) is a Course Director for STEM courses at Coventry University @ PSB Academy and brings with him years of teaching experience which includes supervising undergraduate and postgraduate engineering students.  With extensive experience in education and research, he also actively contributes as a reviewer for several reputable journals and conferences.   As an applied researcher, Jason’s field of research focuses on innovative medical image segmentation techniques and classification systems, which includes agriculture and machine vision projects.  With a deep interest in the field of technology, he specialises in machine learning within data analysis and the Internet of Things (IoT).

As a passionate educator, Dr. Jason remains committed to his core mission - to empower and inspire the next generation of learners.
