Introduction

As a result of the continuing digital revolution, computer systems are involved with just about every aspect of modern life. As the number of mobile users, digital applications, and data networks increase, so has the number of potential risks and threats, resulting in the need for talented professionals to secure and protect systems and data.

This cyber security degree is designed to produce qualified graduates who can contribute effectively in one of the highest growing sectors in the UK and Singapore. This course offers training using real-life tools and scenario-based challenges, giving students the opportunity to become an independent learners through practical projects and advanced teaching methods.

Academic Requirements

Entry via Year 1
• Obtained at least two GCE A-Levels subjects or equivalent qualifications that demonstrates preparedness for study.

Entry via Year 2
• A PSB Academy's Diploma in InfoComm Technology or Network Defence and Forensic Countermeasures or Cyber Security.
• Equivalent Diplomasin Information Technology from a local polytechnic or other Private Education Institution will be considered as non-standard entries (see below).

Entry via Year 3
• Applicants may be eligible for direct entry into Year 3 with a local Polytechnic Diploma in a closely related discipline. Such applications will be considered on a case-by-case basis in consultation with Coventry University link tutors.

Applicants with any other non-standard qualifications may apply but will be assessed on a case-by-case basis by PSB Academy and Coventry University

Work Experience (if applicable):

  • The requirements for mature candidates remain as 30 years old and above with 8 years of working experience.

Minimum Age Requirement

  • 18 years old

English Language Requirement

  • English Language at GCE O-Level at grade C or above; or
  • Successfully complete PSB Academy’s Certificate in English Proficiency Level 5; or
  • IELTS score of 6.0 or equivalent
