School of Engineering and Technology

When I look back at my journey in sustainability, I see a path driven by purpose and sharpened by the right education. Today, I lead and manage a decarbonization initiative and a digital marketplace for sustainability solutions—an ambitious effort focused on driving renewable energy adoption, growing meaningful partnerships, and translating bold ideas into action. I’m deeply passionate about finding new ways to collaborate on green solutions and seeing tangible progress toward a cleaner, more sustainable future.

To thrive in this fast-evolving industry, I’ve learned that strategic thinking, adaptability, and strong collaboration skills are non-negotiable. What fuels my work is not just innovation, but the ability to bridge technical know-how with business strategy—to lead projects that matter and to drive outcomes that last.

That’s why I chose to pursue my postgraduate studies with Coventry University at PSB Academy. The school’s industry-relevant curriculum, convenient city campus, and flexible weekend classes aligned perfectly with my career goals and demanding work schedule. The programme was not just practical; it was empowering. It gave me a strong blend of technical and business skills, and more importantly, the confidence to lead with purpose.

What stood out most were the lecturers—especially Dr. John, whose guidance during my dissertation brought clarity and calm to what initially felt like a daunting process. His approachability and sense of humour made the classroom not just informative, but enjoyable. We didn’t just learn; we laughed—and that made all the difference.

I often get asked if studying at a private institution in Singapore was a disadvantage. My answer is simple: look at where I am today. It’s proof that what matters is not the label on your certificate, but the mindset, skills, and drive you bring to the table. I hope to help break the stigma and show that success is defined by action—not by origin.
