How has life been since you started school?  

Since I started my education at PSB Academy, I’ve met a lot of interesting people around the world, and made new friends. By getting my education here, I can discover new opportunities and figure out precisely what I’m going to do in the future. 

What made you further your studies with PSB Academy? 

I’ve been in Singapore for more than two years. When I finished my previous course in another institution, I felt a bit down, because I didn’t really learn what I wanted to, and I didn’t want to continue my education like this. After doing some research, it seemed that all programmes are pretty similar, until I came across PSB Academy. The staff and students told me about the Robotics and AI bachelor’s degree. It seemed like an ideal balance of hands-on work and theory, and I didn’t see such a programme in other institutions. That’s what made me chose PSB Academy. 

What made you embark on your course / discipline? How will this programme help you to achieve your dreams?  

Basically, I’ve been always been interested in IT, and planned to relate my life to work in this field. But I never thought that I should learn something related to engineering as well. Later when I found out about the Robotics and AI course, I decided that it’s an ideal course to start with. Now I don’t regret the decision I made, and as I go along, I’m more convinced that I made the right choice. 

In what ways has your education with us added value to your personal development and professional opportunities? How have our services help build your character? 

It helps me grow both personally and professionally, I’ve improved my communication skills and I learnt how to better work in a team. The lessons have an ideal balance of practice and theory, which helps me be prepared for real work. PSB Academy also run different events, that can help me find a career in the future. 

How approachable and helpful were the lecturers/tutors? Was there anyone who motivated you through the challenges of completing your course?  

I cannot single out just one person. All lecturers/tutors are professionals, and lessons don’t feel stressful. All assignments feel like interesting projects, and something I would not forget. Lecturers/tutors will always help you and explain everything as clearly as possible. 

What was most memorable about your time at PSB Academy? 

It’s only the first term, but it’s just been exciting and a new format of study for me. As I’ve mentioned before, there’s a lot of hands-on work and practice, so I’ve just been focused on doing all these projects.  

What advice would you give to other students planning to study here? 

Don’t be shy, and be more communicative, with your classmates and teachers. Since Singapore is an international hub, it will give you a lot of experience in in team work, and allow you to improve your English so you can feel more confident.
