I first heard about PSB Academy through social media, and my sister-in-law, who is a local resident in Singapore, also recommended it.
I chose to pursue a Diploma in Business Administration (Human Resource Management) here because of the part-time study mode, allowing me to continue working during the day and study after work. Working full-time in a construction company while pursuing a Diploma wasn’t easy, but PSB Academy made it possible. My goal is to advance in the Human Resource department, and this Diploma is a crucial step towards this dream, equipping me with the knowledge and skills I need.
I think studying at a private education institution like PSB Academy brings many advantages for people keen to upskill outside of their working hours. The blended learning which includes face-to-face lessons and online lessons, has greatly helped part-time students like me. This flexibility meant I could continue my lifelong learning journey while still working.
PSB Academy is a great choice also due to its campus being conveniently located in Marina Square, offering plenty of dining options, making it easy to settle your meals before classes after a long day at work.
Throughout my course of study, I’ve gained invaluable skills in handling human resource matters and working effectively in groups. One of my most unforgettable moments was our final group project for the “Compensation” module. My teammates and I bonded while overcoming the challenges of our busy schedules, squeezing in collaborative time during class breaks, and even renting a studio to complete our presentation recording. This experience highlighted the supportive and collaborative environment among classmates at PSB Academy.
Lecturers like Mr Edward Cheong Yeow Chyi and Mr Lim Kok Guan have been incredibly inspiring. Mr Lim’s patient guidance beyond class hours and Mr Cheong’s real-world insights have also enriched my learning experience.
PSB Academy has not only provided me with an education but also a community and the confidence to pursue my ambitions. I’m excited for the future and grateful for the journey that has prepared me for it.
