Khaing Thazin Soe

Class of 2024
School of Business and Management

Before I joined PSB Academy, I had completed a Bachelor’s Degree in Engineering but found myself at a crossroads, unsure of what to do next. I had a keen interest in logistics and global supply chain management, which I believed would be crucial for enhancing my family’s business back home. However, I needed the right programme to help me acquire the skills and knowledge to truly excel in this field.

After conducting thorough research on private education institution in Singapore, I discovered PSB Academy. The Diploma in Global Supply Chain Management caught my eye. It was exactly what I needed to upskill and become my father’s right-hand woman.

Moving to Singapore as an international student was challenging. The initial days were tough, filled with homesickness and the challenge of adjusting to a new education system. But PSB Academy’s welcoming environment quickly made a difference. I made many new friends, and the lecturers were always approachable and ready to help. Their support was invaluable, and they made me feel comfortable seeking guidance whenever I needed it.

Through my course, I gained a comprehensive understanding of logistics, supply chain management, and warehousing operations. The course was broadly relevant to various industries. The skills I picked up were not just theoretical. I was able to apply them in real-world scenarios, including managing warehousing operations and optimising supply chain processes in my family’s business.

It is important to follow your passion when choosing your course. When you study something you love, it makes learning fun and fulfilling, and it can lead to a career that makes you truly happy.
