As an international student, I came to Singapore to enhance my English language skills and pursue a degree from a reputable international institution. When I first arrived in Singapore, I was completely unprepared and a bundle of nerves.

With the goal of working for global companies, I wanted a quality education that could help me stand out from the competition. My country representative introduced me to PSB Academy and Coventry University. I decided to pursue my education at PSB Academy after visiting various educational institutions in Singapore and analysing their curriculum to see which ones would best fit my interests and career goals. Coventry University was ranked top 5 UK University Hospitality, Event Management, and Tourism according to Guardian University Guide 2021. This gave me the confidence that I would be able to acquire relevant industry expertise.

Although I embarked on my studies amid Covid-19, my educational experience remains unaffected. It has been exceptional and gratifying. My lecturers have been really enthusiastic and are always eager to help us. The course structure and lesson schedule are well-balanced, making it possible for me to juggle my studies and handle other responsibilities.

I’ve expanded my knowledge in new areas such as hospitality and business management. It was one of the most satisfying and fulfilling aspects of the programme. Additionally, my communication abilities have grown significantly through group discussions and class presentations with friends from diverse cultural backgrounds. These interactions have created an all-rounded experience, which I can apply to my future profession.
