Ever since junior high school, I have dreamt of working in the hospitality and tourism industry, especially on a cruise ship. The idea of travelling the world and interacting with diverse people always fascinated me. When it was time to choose a diploma, PSB Academy’s Diploma in Tourism and Hospitality Management stood out. The programme not only aligned with my interests but also offered practical, engaging modules and the opportunity to progress academically with university partners.

The comprehensive course content and supportive environment at PSB Academy have significantly pushed me towards chasing my dream. Throughout my course, I have developed essential skills such as leadership, creativity, adaptability, and time management. Many of these skills were put to the test during one of my most unforgettable moments at PSB Academy – presenting our group project on Marina Bay Sands Hotel’s sustainability actions. This presentation showed all the hard work and effort I had put in and marked an important point in my studies, showing how much I have grown and learnt.

My journey here has been greatly influenced by an exceptional lecturer, Mr Lijush. His love for the industry is inspiring, and his step-by-step guidance has been priceless. He inspires me to continue pursuing my dream in the hospitality and tourism industry.

As I look forward to the future, I am excited about the prospects of working on a cruise ship and bringing my dream to life. PSB Academy has played a pivotal role in this journey, providing me with the education, support, and inspiration needed to pursue my passion.
