How has life been since you started school?  

Life has become more interesting because I have met interesting people with different backgrounds and learnt a lot of new things. I have many friends among my classmates. I recently started studying but have already learnt practical skills that are directly related to my specialty. We have already built and programmed our first robots and worked on projects in the field of programming. The programme is very rich and interesting. This is my first time in Singapore and in my free time. I enjoy taking a walk to admire the beauty of Singapore or go swimming in the sea. I like Singapore, and the wing in which I study has a beautiful view of the city.  

What made you further your studies with PSB Academy? 

I chose to further my studies with PSB Academy for several reasons. Firstly, PSB Academy has a strong reputation for offering high-quality education and industry-relevant programme. The curriculum is designed to equip students with practical skills and knowledge that are directly applicable to the industry. 

Secondly, the diverse range of courses available allowed me to find a programme that aligned perfectly with my career aspirations. The opportunity to learn from experienced faculty members who have real-world expertise was also a significant draw. 

What made you embark on your course / discipline? How will this programme help you to achieve your dreams?  

I have always been interested in programming and computer science, I find it very exciting and necessary. I always wanted to understand how a computer works and I was also interested in how neural networks work, I knew a little in this area. I considered it difficult but very interesting, and robotics has always fascinated me because you can create something that can help people. And this programme gave me the opportunity to learn robotics and AI. 

In what ways has your education with us added value to your personal development and professional opportunities? How have our services help build your character? 

My education with PSB Academy has significantly enriched my personal development. The curriculum not only provided me with essential knowledge and skills but also fostered critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. Engaging in collaborative projects and discussions enhanced my communication skills and built my confidence in expressing ideas. 

Additionally, the supportive environment encouraged me to step out of my comfort zone, leading to personal growth and resilience. 

How approachable and helpful were the lecturers/tutors? Was there anyone who motivated you through the challenges of completing your course?  

The lecturers and tutors were exceptionally approachable and helpful throughout my course. They maintained encouraging students to seek assistance whenever needed. Their willingness to provide guidance and support made a significant difference, especially during challenging times. 

They took the time to understand each student’s struggles and offered personalised advice, which helped me navigate through difficult topics. Their positive attitude and belief in my potential inspired me to push through obstacles and stay focused on my goals. 

What was most memorable about your time at PSB Academy? 

There were many moments that I will remember for the rest of my life, how we did a programming project, how we programmed robots. I would probably highlight as the most memorable how we made a robot using a 3D printer, I will hardly ever be able to forget that feeling of delight when I assembled the robot, that excitement before its launch. 

What advice would you give to other students planning to study here? 

This is a good question, I would advise you to be prepared for the fact that Singapore is constantly hot, this is the only thing you will have to prepare for, because everything else is fine and with any difficulties you can calmly contact the teachers or staff. I would also like to wish everyone good luck during their studies.
