Alumni Class of 2022
School of Business and Management

With a mere 2 months to buck up for my N-Level after failing my preliminary exams, it was stressful preparing for it as it will determine if I could enter a local polytechnic. While I did pass all my subjects, it wasn’t good enough for me to take O-Level, and progress to a Polytechnic.

Not wanting to enter Institute of Technical Education (ITE), I was confused with my options after N-Level. Through social media, I discovered PSB Academy. Not only did PSB Academy accepted N-Level students for the Preparatory Course for Cambridge International General Certificate of Secondary Education (IGCSE) Examination (Intensive), but the school also provided a progression pathway for us to continue our studies to a Bachelor’s Degree.

During my 2 years with PSB Academy since 2018, I completed the IGCSE course and have since graduated from the Certificate in Business Management and Diploma in Business Administration (Accounting and Finance). Currently pursuing the Bachelor of Arts with Honours in Business and Finance with Coventry University, I am one step closer to reach my dream of becoming an accountant.

A “normal” progression route would have taken me longer to be where I am now, and I might not have gotten the course that I wanted because of my results. All these were made possible at PSB Academy.

For those who are waiting for your N-level result, don’t be discouraged if you did not do well. Look out for alternative routes and be open to unconventional pathways. Press on, and you’ll reach your end goal one day.
