I’ve always been interested in stocks and trade, and I aspire to be an investment banker. Hence, I wanted a business degree that focuses on finance. Pursuing higher education would help me acquire advanced financial understanding and a broad range of expertise in a variety of other subjects. It would also allow me to engage in critical and abstract thinking, where it will assist me in communicating clearly and make sound decisions. These abilities are valuable both on and off the job.
PSB Academy is one of the leading private institutions that offers business courses from reputable universities specialising in finance. The progression pathway from diploma to degree piqued my curiosity, as I could complete my degree within a shorter timeframe.
The diploma has paved the way for future work opportunities in the field of my choice. It has equipped me with extensive knowledge and skills that were industry-relevant. Throughout my diploma programme, I have learned a lot from the lecturers who were experienced in their fields. Even though they were industry professionals, but they were friendly and approachable. In addition, I’ve learned the value of teamwork and friendship and how to manage my time effectively. Being a part of a team entails collaborating with people from different backgrounds to achieve a common goal. In today’s corporate world, it is crucial to be able to work with different people.
After completing my diploma, I was able to gain advanced entry to the finance degree with the University of Wollongong. Even after I graduate with a finance degree, I will continue to pursue a lifetime of learning. As Heraclitus said, “The only thing that is constant is change.” Change in our professions, our personal lives, and our communities and organisations. Lifelong learning is one of the most effective methods to deal with change.
